Sound Transforms The Body
During daily life, our regular brain frequency is in Beta. Sounds gently draw the brain into first the Alfa, then Theta and finally Delta states where deep relaxation and meditation occur. In this deeply meditative state, production of the body’s stress hormone cortisol declines while our levels of dopamine, endorphins, oxytocin and serotonin–collectively known as ‘the happiness hormones’–increase. The body is able to rejuvenate and find peace.
According to research, harmonic sounds relax the mind and the body quickly. During the singing bowl session one’s reflexes slow down; pulse, blood pressure and body temperature decrease; breathing becomes deeper and more regulated; sweat glands function slows down and the pores on the surface of our skin open up. Singing bowls are also used in oncology and other departments of hospitals as a support device in both Germany and France. The speed of the frequency produced is four times faster in water than in air. Considering the fact that the human body is 70% percent water, it is not surprising that sound has such a strong impact on it.

The founder of Tanio Technology, Bruce Tanio, suggests that a healthy person's body frequency should be between 62 to 78 MHz. When the frequency goes below 58 MHz, illnesses manifest themselves. Sometimes in relation to emotional and environmental factors, a person’s body frequency decreases and this is when his or her immune system weakens, enabling easy interference by viruses and bacteria.
